Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 2026-08-09
This AUP applies to every user of ExcuseMe. It forms part of the Business Terms and Guest Terms.
1. Do not use the Service to
- break law, court orders, sanctions, consumer, food-safety, alcohol, fiscal, privacy or intellectual-property rules;
- sell illegal goods or knowingly facilitate restricted-goods sales to an ineligible person;
- upload malware, exploit code, stolen credentials, unlawful personal data or content you lack rights to use;
- harass, threaten, discriminate, sexually exploit, deceive or impersonate another person or Venue;
- probe, bypass or interfere with authentication, the separation between Venues' data, rate limits, quotas, billing, fraud controls, model safeguards or availability;
- scrape, enumerate, reverse engineer or automatically access the Service except through a documented interface and agreed limits;
- use multiple accounts, locations, QR codes or automation to evade plan, trial, order or AI limits;
- submit secrets, full payment-card data, government identifiers or unnecessary special-category data to AI/chat fields;
- use AI output as guaranteed allergy, medical, legal, age or safety advice; or
- resell, benchmark publicly, train a competing model on protected output, or operate a white-label version without written permission.
Security research is welcome only where conducted in good faith, using your own test account, avoiding personal data/service disruption and reporting privately to security@excuseme.pro before disclosure. This is not permission to access another Venue's account or retain data.
2. Venue responsibilities
Venues must moderate their menus and staff access, keep prices/allergens/availability truthful, provide a human ordering route where appropriate, and investigate abuse reports. They may not use guest contact or loyalty data for unrelated marketing without a valid basis and required consent.
3. Enforcement
We may automatically reject malformed or unsafe requests, rate-limit, preserve evidence, remove/disable content, restrict a feature, or suspend/terminate access. We consider severity, intent, recurrence, harm and remediation. Urgent illegal, security or safety risks may be acted on without advance notice.
Where law permits, we give reasons and a way to appeal. Report abuse or appeal to abuse@excuseme.pro with the Venue name/URL, facts, evidence and contact details. Security reports go to security@excuseme.pro. We may refer credible threats or illegal activity to competent authorities.
4. Fair use
Published location, trial, accepted-order, prepaid AI, fair-use and technical limits protect shared availability. Creating artificial traffic or splitting one Venue to defeat limits is prohibited.
We may update this AUP for new threats or law. Material changes follow the notice rules in the Business Terms.
